Hello! I’m moving on to the final interview with LVMH for an analyst position. HR mentioned on the first call that they haven’t finalized the salary range for the position yet, but I said I’m looking for $105-115k and she said she feels like that would be doable. I have 5 YOE, 3 of which as an Analyst.

At the beginning of covid, my firm cut pay and made the decision to halt lock-step increases this year. Makes sense. They have not reversed this despite the firm hitting over the projected budgets. They are also hiring over 10 new associates to start this month and next. They are milking this covid shit right? How argumentative are you with your partners? I was assigned to draft a motion. I studied the issue for hours. Felt sure about my findings. I drafted it and sent it for review. Partner came back with a different argument, which I know to be wrong based on the case law. Ultimately, we went back on forth on drafts over this issue but I couldn’t give her what she wanted because I can’t physically argue something I think is flat out wrong. She ended up doing it herself.

I’m a first year associate who just lateraled out of ID into PI. Most of my cases are insurance bad faith. I’m still learning, but I’m loving it. My question - how do I drum up clients in this field?
