How crazy? 2nd year legacy S&O SM (MBA campus hire). Have zero interest in PMD route. thinking of PhD in business (not SUPER passionate about research/publishing) but I don’t wanna work for Corporate America (Fortune 500) or non-profits. Yes, can do the adjunct lecturer route but I think phD will be better long term if I wanna teach or run a program in a university setting. Financially not the best decision (which I’m okay with) but I love the flexibility/intellectual aspect of academia...

Does anyone else find it more stressful in some ways to deal with small clients? As a 1st year I field cold calls, and ended up dealing with a small claims matter where he just wanted help dealing with papers he was served with + next steps. I’ve been prioritizing other things, but I feel bad for the dude so have been putting some time into walking him through this. It’s tough because it isn’t a huge sum compared to what I usually work with, but for him it’s basically life-changing.

I had an interview for Deloitte lead solution advisor role on monjin platform. The interviewer was very rude doesn’t wanted the exact answer rather he wanted an answer full of theory. To my surprise he gave me an sql scenario which i do on regular basis,i wrote the query and explained to him, he said it is wrong and subsequently said all the queries are wrong. I knew the interview is all fucked up now. I challenged him to tell me where i am wrong. He said he doesn’t want to get in an argument.
