If you are already a consultant, what are your actual post-MBA goal? Upgrade to MBB? Lateral over to IB for more work and more pay? FAANG for the RSUs? Those are the three paths I’ve identified where the business case holds water. Startups seem great but where’s the payoff?

Got PwC Associate position in MC. They offered 20fixed + upto 20%variable (after a lot of negotiations). I think they lowballed me. 🥺 I was Sr. associate in previous organisation. (Ctc 15+) Background: Old IIM MBA Work ex: Total 4+ years. ( 2+ post mba, 2 pre mba) I am not able to justify the designation to myself. Hi Fish! Wanted to get your perspectives - Worked at Bain pre MBA, now at a top 10 MBA program, and have a Sr PM intern (non technical) offer at Amazon. Wondering if I go into Product after B school, will I be able to go back to 'business' roles down the line? I like some of the quant elements of my consulting job but want to move closer to the business (eventually owning a full P&L). Do you guys generally think this is a good move?
