I’m scheduled to do mine in person next week in nyc, will let you know if you remind me

I took it in a test center a few weeks ago and most people pulled their masks down once they were sitting at their computer

like

I took it yesterday. Feel free to PM. You can pull it below your nose. Also, takes longer to check in back from breaks with safety protocol so factor that! I went over 2 mins on break

like

Hours. Esp because I’m not a great test taker and need to ‘take deep breaths’ to clear my thoughts etc :( Wondering how it’ll impact my performance and if I should consider a remote one

Joining the ranks of those being laid off due to Covid, I’m now looking to go freelance. Having worked as an Agency Producer my entire career, but jobs now being scarce I’m looking to broaden my horizon and also seek work in Production Companies.

For those of you who are doing both, or did the switch, what did you find most different or challenging going from Agency to Production Company side? Was there anything that threw you off or that you hadn’t anticipated? Any regrets? Pitfalls to avoid?

I work with a classroom of Middle School ED students. One student, who I worked with the year before, has changed alot over the year. Last year (pre COVID), she had a good head on her shoulders and I thought I had good rapor with her. But over that period of isolation, she tried to commit suicide.

All year, she was much more withdrawn and ALWAYS on her phone! At the end of the I was 'beat up by her - she really knocked my glasses off.

How should I approach her in the upcoming year?

At this point in the pandemic, I feel like those who take 80% precaution (masks in public but go out occasionally with friends) are more likely to get covid than those who take 0 precautions and are constantly exposed to a little bit of covid here and there

Help requested: my older brother (male in his 30s in NYC) is relatively high risk for getting COVID due to his job and underlying health but he keeps procrastinating on getting the vaccine. I want to work in NYC and my boyfriend is working there (so the living expense is not a trouble). Love both school, but
1. Does Stern offer a close-knit and tight culture as Johnson does?
2. Is location that important for MBA recruiting process in the U.S. for consulting?
