I am thinking about changing my career to construction and I have an interview coming up soon with a reputable construction company. The new position would be a Construction Superintendent. Is this a “downgrade” in any way?

How can I pivot from a boring, general media planner role into something more impactful/meaningful? Should I look into switching roles? Or how can I bring value to my work?

I’m working as an allocator in market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate.
