Another suggestion is to just walk outside. I suffer from the same feelings often, and I’m amazed by how much better I feel once I’m in the sunshine. I can literally feel my blah mood dissolving. My NY resolution is to block 30 min on my calendar every day to walk out my feelings. Plus, it would help your vitamin d numbers!
+1000 even if cloudy. The cold frosty air helps so so much

You may just be blue. Given what we’re dealing with it’s understandable. Have you tried exercise? Calling, FaceTiming friends? Any time I feel blue I do something that brings me A LOT of joy. Since I can’t interact with people that much I started cycling which I quite enjoy. Maybe get yourself a gift or try a game? If you’re craving interaction with people maybe pick up tennis or golf since they’re outdoors.

I was going to ask about your stationary bike! I do road biking but with winter I needed a stationary one.
I hope you start feeling better. Another idea is to wake up every morning and do 10-15 min of yoga before you start working. I love this since I can’t get to the studio anymore.
I had similar experience recently, the pandemic, politics, and holidays didn’t help. It got worse when a lot of people were celebrating the new year because I couldn’t see anything good to happen yet in 2021. It’s all complicated. I tried not to pressure myself to be positive all the time. All of our feelings are valid. I knew if I gave myself space and time, it would get better because I’m a happy and positive person in general. If I felt down all the time, I would seek for professional help. Good news is that a lot of us just go through different emotions sometimes. :)

It’s almost a year since this pandemic hit and affecting our lives in so many ways.. we are all not feeling normal but maybe finding a new hobby will help.
Seasonal depression is real! It might help to talk to a therapist too :)

It’s legit. Get yourself one of those special lightbulbs to sit under. I hear they work really well!

I felt this so much this week! Even things I usually enjoy doing, I just wasn’t up for it. Exercising helped me a bit - feeling better now.
