Anyone else feel like health insurance companies (Cigna, CVS, Anthem, etc) have really weird cultures? Always feels likes many of their employees truly believe they’re helping people instead of just squeezing every penny out of people’s health...or am I missing something?

In a bit of an ethical dilemma. Got accepted into a 6 month rotation program within the firm. However, also plan on taking paternity leave at that end of the rotation. I understand company policy is to disclosure paternity leave two months prior. I have disclosed the desire for paternity leave to the rotation leadership but not to my leadership as fear they will not let me do the rotation. Any thoughts?

Due Diligence has begun and I’m being asked to evaluate whether teammates are performing at or above their level. The thing is, I don’t even know what’s expected of me at my own level, let alone other levels in this firm. I initially took the loan to add to my home equity when I sell my house for a new house then covid hit.

I find myself whiling away most of my weekend on Grindr and other dating apps. >90% of the time is wasted and doesn't lead to anything. I know it's a black hole but I still keep going back.
