Anyone gone through a weight loss recently and noticed a huge change in their energy or confidence? I’m not morbidly obese or anything but I’m at around 25% body fat, and I feel so uncomfortable in work clothes because they make me look fat, and I lose a lot of confidence. Also once you started working out when did you start seeing results?

I can totally understand feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. 25% body fat is really nothing to be ashamed of! I am sure you have a specific weight and size for yourself in your mind, but what if, for now, you buy some new clothing? No one deserves to feel uncomfortable in what they wear. I bet if you get clothing that fits better you’ll feel more confident instantly! To answer your questions, being more fit does make me more confident, but this doesn’t HAVE to be tied to our confidence levels. I hope you can find more confidence without getting fit! Finally, I think getting more fit is a great goal! When you start seeing results is dependent on a ton of factors, like what lifestyle changes you’re making and how your body holds onto fat and builds muscle. I suggest going for sustainable change, which might lead you to make changes that take longer to show tangibly.

I would say probably about 3 week you start to stop hating life and start to notice life improvements. You will also push past the initial water weight loss that comes from restrictions carbs (if that's what you're doing). If we already tend to be critical of our bodies it can be difficult to objectively notice physical changes. So along with measuring weight or bf %, I would suggest some non-scale measures: how does the shirt feel, how much energy do you have, waist inch changes, improved strength or conditioning. If you are just working out you might also notice some weight increases due to body composition changes. Whatever is it, keep going because all small ultimately improve your total health and wellbeing. Hope you get that confidence back!

Hi ladies, Is the 6 month mark too early to ask for a raise? I have been required to over step my job role in almost every capacity. My bosses boss is contacting my personal phone on this weekend as the main point of contact for crisis comms on social media. I am also helping more senior social media members often. I have received 5 pieces of overwhelmingly positive written feedback from colleagues and these will be reviewed at the end of probation talk. I just don't know how to ask. 😔

Hi! I have around 13 months of exp in LTI. My current project assignment gets over by December. And I want to change role after 18 months. Is it a good idea to continue and jump to another project in the middle ? Or its better to sit on the bench until that happens? If latter is the case, how do I ask my manager to be benched after my assignment? I'm not sure how benching works. Do I get salary? Please help me understand
