Do interview questions at google, especially for S&O roles lean more towards asking about past experience (tell me about a time when) or hypothetical (what if abc happened)? I don’t have a strategy / ops background (I’m coming from finance) but I’ve studied a lot of case studies etc and think I could do great in hypothetical and case study questions. But maybe not the past experience questions, because I just haven’t run into all these scenarios

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?

Why there is so many salary difference between each sector?
In mechanical Engineering field 10 years of experience professional paid 1.2 to 1.5 times but in software field the experienced person paid 3x times.

Eventhough both companies YOY profit are in same level.

Question related to Perm - My firm is in the process of filling a GC for me. They are 75% done in terms of timeline to get an I-140. Now I decided to move to another state, and they are telling me that they will restart the GC process. Does it make sense for me to tell them that I will move back to my current location once my priority date gets current? Or should I let them refile (which might take another 2 years to process)?
