They were fairly straightforward. First round was one that was just fit and another a case. Second (final) round was 3 interviews - one fit, one regular case and one written case study. The regular cases had a lot of exhibits, and so did the written case which was the most difficult part of the process just because I had no experience with it. DM me if you have any other questions, happy to help

Ugh, just got rejected from a senior level big tech opportunity. 4 month hiring process, multiple rescheduled interview days and no-shows, 10+ interviews in the end, multiple take home assessments, and took 2 days off work for the final round of interviews. Very frustrating and feel like they wasted my time in the end. Just a shambolic interview process in which I felt like a placeholder till they found who they really wanted.

I’m currently in PA working in tax compliance (PE/Hedge) and considering my options. When I spoke with a recruiter seems like there is not a lot of “interesting” tax opportunities in industry that really stuck out to me. They mentioned potential opportunities for a PE controller role. Has anyone ever tried this? It would be a smaller shop so imagine I’d be doing everything if I was considered. Would I be setting myself up for failure?
