Anyone ever seen a switch from tax to advisory internally? Recently started as a tax associate (4 months in) and am seeing this probably isn’t for me in the long term. Wondering if I’m better off trying to fight through all the red tape or start applying externally, with the last option trying to switch to audit and then from there try to switch to advisory

Math heavy case interviews are so painful and a horrible idea as a first round. Case interviews should test basic logic and thinking and not doing math 😩. Hope everyone is having a better Friday lol.

I had a panel interview on 3/24 and I haven’t heard back at all. I was informed they will get back to me with a decision and would be interviewing other candidates in the meantime. I sent a follow up email on 3/31 and haven’t heard back. Is this normal? Or would I be able to send another email?
