As someone who held a full time job 40 hours a week, for 4 years during college at a state school to support myself and pay for college, I can't relate to the soft and pampered on campus hires that ..

Parents - public or private school? Not feeling this 30k+ per year per child for tuition only but on other hand, don't want to be cheap parent whose child doesn't maximize potential. Any experiences?
