Would you leave big-4 for a promotion to "Managing Director" role and a 30-50% salary raise at a Small to Midsize Consulting Firm?
Just got off a two hour workshop with a client and was too scared to say anything and speak up even though I probably had good points. How do you get over the fear of being wrong or sounding stupid? I feel like I let my team down.

Anyone looking for experienced case partners? My go-to’s have given up (radio silence for pipeline). Interviewed with MBB in undergrad & trying again as a lateral, want to stay fresh. Please DM me if interested & have least 20 cases under belt - thanks & good luck everyone!
Any AWS fishies about? Curious about your ops teams. Are you wfh for the foreseeable future or back in the office already?
MBB expert track vs generalist track: how does the compensation differ as you progress through the ranks? Interested mainly in McK, but any experiences would be helpful!
Have an opportunity to be a loaned staff for a company I find really interesting for 2 years. Should I be cautious of this? Seems like a good opportunity but I’d likely miss out on the typical career progression of a big 4 firm
Does anyone have any insight working for Appian (Pay, WLB, Benefits)? Specifically the Technology Strategy Analyst role? Looking for strategy roles outside of consulting.
Hi, could someone please show or tell what PwC's cohort model for an entry level associate role? It's the Project Management Consulting Associate role in the Acceleration Center (remote) in case there's salary bands within that group. I'm in the interview stage and would like an idea of where I'll be within that range if I receive an offer. Recruiter gave typical 50-60s range for the role. Seemed kinda low to me...how open is PwC to negotiating? Cross posting. Thanks!
Perpetually an intern... working at the same company for 1.5+ years and easily doing the work of a junior creative, & taking the heat off my CDs daily; sometimes I’m the only AD on big jobs. I’m not making a livable wage & I’ve undercut my soul, free time, and financial stability with no end in sight. My teammates always really appreciate my hustle and insights. It makes me wonder what else I could possibly do. Put on more make up? Start poppin adderal? I’m joking... but what would you do?
How good at Excel so I have to be if I’m considering MBB? (Any resources to get food quickly) ?
If you go from h1b to h4, but still have time left on your original h1b visa, can you switch back to h1b easily?
Any advice in starting the search for an exit opp? Or if you know if any good opportunities in nyc/remote? Consulting is burning me at both ends of the wick and I need to be somewhere I can sustainably contribute, learn and grow. It’s hard to search when you’re working till 1am. A bit about myself: -3 yoe, mainly tech pm & scm work via consulting -degree in SCM and info sys, cert. scrum master -environment/culture is very important to me, good people, reasonable hours, etc.
