In NY, not many big roles for headhunters to actively work on, plus the startups won’t pay those fees. So best to go to events that the company you want to work for attends and just start networking. WeWork has a bunch of parties and a lot of these startups started there and still attend. Make sure you’re in the scene first, there’s a ton of social opportunities.
