My sibling is currently going through opioid withdrawal and my family and I would like her to go to detox. She’s insisting that detox isn’t helpful, and just makes her want to use (She has run from detox 5x over the past 4 years). She would like to detox at home instead, but if she is going to go to rehab, I she needs to spend at least some time in detox.

Originally from Italy, I've been out to anyone at my former jobs in Europe without ever worrying about the reactions of my coworkers. Now I'm Asia and just started a new job, but one of my colleagues (also an expat) made a very weird statement about gay people having more chances of developing cancers (?!?!?), so I feel a bit skeptical about talking about my private life... I feel a little strange posting this here…but any recommendations for therapists in Denver?

I’ve been dealing with severe anxiety and depression for the past year, which has started to have very noticeable physical impacts. My PCP recommended therapy & SSRI medication, but I’m very weary of the medication route. I’d prefer to begin working with a therapist who could perhaps also provide an opinion/guidance on the medication option.

I’m having a hard time understanding the salary /TC ranges for mid- to senior-level strategy positions in the Denver area (10-15 YOE). They seem to vary a lot, and are broadly low vs. other markets (mid $100k-low $200k vs TC closer to $300-$400k+ on the coasts). Any observations? Which companies would you look at for more substantial comp outside consulting?
