What exactly are you supporting? The style and approach will depend on the level of intelligence of the folk you are managing.
If it’s call center, it’s one thing, if it’s app support, it’s another. Also offshore / location / time zone of your people will require different styles

💯 call center job tbh. Covid response work. Can not disclose more than this unfortunately.

It's still the same.

I’ve been a mid-level manager (Sr Operations Manager) for the last three years. Been in my industry for 10 years. I feel I have plateaued in my career path. I’m trying to promote to a Director of Operations role in house and looking at outside opportunities as well. I feel like it’s taken longer to obtain this position than my previous roles. Any advice from Sr/Exec Management to be more self aware and fill in the holes to finally hit the finish line?

I was recently referred to a Cloud Program Mgr. vacancy within Google’s Public Sector offering and am wondering if there are any hiring freezes that may prevent movement on the role?

I have an active Top Secret clearance and led Federal IT modernization/digital transformation engagements prior to joining Amazon earlier this year. My concern is that while I’ve led Cloud engagements in the past, I’m not certified or have a strong technical cloud proficiencies. Will this be a significant barrier?

What kind of security clearance do attorney positions with domestic agencies require? I’ve been disincentivized from seeking positions with the federal government because I’m not confident about my ability to obtain a TS clearance (high short term and medium term debt, bad credit, messy bank statements, expunged misdemeanors). But I’m not trying to stay in big law if I could land federal government at half the salary. Is it worth pursuing before cleaning up my risk factors?

I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

Just revised my resume with some of the very helpful suggestions I received in my earlier post. Still seeking out management consulting, strong LDPs, and high-paying Ops and SCM roles once I graduate in Spring 2023. Also incoming at U.S. Department of State. Would appreciate more feedback and referrals or advice!
