Anyone has good books for mentor ship? I am 25, just starting my career and honestly don’t know what the hell is going on. Idk if it is the mid20s crisis, but unfortunately I don’t have someone to talk about how I feel regarding work and personal decisions.

Starting post mba at EY as a senior consultant within Performance Improvement in September. H1-B petition just got approved. How long can I expect EY to wait until they start the procedure for filing I-140 ? And how long would it take for I-140 to get approved from the time petition is filed ?

House went on market through an auction (not foreclosure). List price was 550k, I ended up with an offer of 670k (next few offers were 3-5k lower). However, the listing agent has been really rude and aggressive and is basically forcing no contingencies. I can waive off inspection and loan contingency, but hesitant to waive appraisal contingency (anything over a difference of 20-30k). Anyone been in this situation before? How’d you deal with it?

Here is my monthly budget. Family of 4. I’m saving about 6k (48%). I max out my 401(k) and HSA.

-400k equity in house
-75k in 401k
-65k in investment account
-4.5k in HSA
-15k in Crypto (was 60k a couple months ago)

We need to get a bigger SUV (about to become a family of 5). How much would you spend on an SUV and what would you want your monthly payments to be? I can get 2.9%/60 months at my credit union. I need something big (no minivan). Thinking Toyota Sequoia. Thanks.

My SO was laid off and has recently delved into philosophy and intense introspection. I'm all for taking time for yourself but I feel like they're losing touch with reality. New job is secured. Meanwhile I'm trying to get them to start with wedding planning, move planning, etc while still not working because I'm on a biological clock here, pal, but "time is a construct" or whatever. Someone help me gain perspective before I lose my shit. Things need to be done/planned for and I can't do it all.

How do digital nomads work from anywhere? After two years of this whole WFH thing, I realize that I need a proper routine, an actual WFH setup with a second monitor, a ring light, a suitable desk, an ergonomic chair, stationery, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love the flexibility of remote work, and I'm not sure I will ever go back to 5 days a week in an office (or even one day a week, for that matter.) But, how do digital nomads adapt by packing up and going so frequently between places?
