Is going to a small firm actually worth it for WLB or is it just taking a pay cut to have substantially the same hours/stress levels? Considering a move to a smaller firm for mental health but not sure if it’ll end up being more of the same.

I moved to the Netherlands 3 months ago on a spouse visa. Was working with EY-P earlier. I have been applying to jobs and giving interviews but for some reason things are not working out. I get a different reason everytime (after going through the whole process). This has never happened earlier in life and now I don't know what else to do. I have worked as a strategy consultant (& a researcher). Should I change lines? Where else can I try?

Java Microservices Architect with 40 LPA Fixed (12 YOE) at Nagarro. Joined 8 months back. Got an offer from Publicis Sapient of 55LPA (50 Fixed, 5 Variable), with role Technology Manager. I have asked for 60, but that’s out of their budget. I’m thinking of accepting the offer only if 55 is fixed without any variable. What do tou think guys? Is it worth a switch? And is the variable paid fully usually? Thanks in advance for your insights.

Need guidance. 6YOE (27M) in consulting basically doing dashbboarding (Tableau) and fancy excel models (data translation) for clients. I had a question about Canadian salaries , is 230k CAD base a good number to be paid for someone with my experience, or it should be higher - the role is that of a director at an analytics startup, I’ve realized Retailers pay a whole lot less in general and definitely super low in Canada , any thoughts or advice?. much appreciated.
