Hi Folks,
My wife has 5 years of experience in Banking Industry now she want to switch her career in IT, she has worked as coding instructor for html/css/js/react native, she has React certification as well. Now she is ready to take interviews.
Now how to convey this to recruiters and are they ok to take interview for frontend developer, how much experience can be considered and what salary can be expected?

I got it for the signup bonus, don't feel it's worth it in combination with the platinum and will be canceling. I use Costco Citi card for restaurants and gas, would recommend mastercard double cash for everything else.
Pro
Used to have the Gold card and liked it. Upgraded to the Platinum when I made a large purchase (an engagement ring) and like it even more. The gold is more of a points play and the platinum offers a plethora of benefits for a couple hundred more in annual fees. I’d say bite the bullet and go with the platinum
I got mine through EY corporate advantage ($100 annual statement credit as long as I hold my corporate card. Makes the AF $150). AT $150, I get maximum point usage for dining, groceries, etc plus the credits for airline and grubhub. I don't have the platinum because the benefits overlap with my airline status benefits/ all my flights MUST go on my corporate green. If we could expense to our own cards, I'd have platinum 100%.
I have a Wells Fargo Propel Amex for gas, travel, streaming services, etc. And then a simple flat rate cashback card (quicksilver Visa) to complete the "trifecta"
Corporate advantage also has higher sign up bonus. Check if your company offers something like that. It's been a great card optimized for my spending habits
I have a referral link I can give you for a 60,000 point welcome offer for the Amex Gold! It’s my favorite card by far since most of my spending during Covid reviles around groceries, food, and dining. If you are curious, the Mint app can a analyze your spending and categorize it to show how many miles or points you’d earn on different credit cards based on your annual spending. Let me know if you’d like the referral link for the card!
Apply for an American Express Card with this link. We can both get rewarded if you're approved!

I canceled my Platinum because I didn't get much benefit from paying the $450(?) of fees. How have you used the benefits?
I just call to cancel once a year and they give me a $400 credit or 40k points. Makes it way more value at that price point :)
Go incognito and that MR bonus should jump to 50 or 65k.
With amex it is really specific to what you spend your money on and what you want out of your rewards (points, cash, miles, etc.)
Check out the amex subreddit
Not worth it unless you spend a ton of money at restaurants. I think the sign up bonus is worth it. Just do it for one year then cancel it.
I think ultimately, the only Amex card that’s worth it is the platinum assuming you travel a lot and can take advantage of all those perks frequently.
Other ones are all too expensive. Like blue cash preferred is cool (6% on groceries) but a lot of cards offer up to 4% and not many people spend enough at grocery stores for the 2% to equal more than $100 a year
