Anyone have a fi collar for their dogs? I used to put a tile tracker on mine just for peace of mind (he has pretty consistent recall and doesn’t stray far). Any other benefits/cons to consider for this? Or other types of tracker?

I have it and love it. Helpful to make sure he’s getting enough exercise and I’m also much more comfortable letting him go off leash.

Also I can check in to make sure that if he is being boarded / I have a dog walker that they are giving him enough walks

I have one, it has been great for keeping me on my game when it comes for walks. Also it has helped us locate him at a busy large off leash dog area. He ran off and wasn't responding to verbal commands - turns out he got stuck somehow in some blackberry bushes and was afraid to leave (they have lots of thorns).

Without that app we'd likely have found him but it would have been a much different day vs. us quickly locating him and helping him out of the bushes relatively thorn free.

Looking for a friendly discussion here... don’t know if there is a straight forward answer, but why are we allowed to put more in a 401k vs an IRA? They are essentially the same thing (correct me if I’m oversimplifying) with the main difference being 401ks are provided by employers. Do you feel like this could be a contributor to the wealth gap? 401ks are more of the norm at white collar jobs and a lot of companies don’t offer one. Is it fair? Talk to me.

New/pivoting into HR! 👋 Currently working as a TA Coord with a little entry level work in HR Ops prior to this. Is there a SHRM link, reliable test, or method of shadowing the various parts of HR that will provide a sample of the work, thinking, and day to day experience of each group? I didn’t go to school for HR and therefore haven’t had the opportunity to sample HR Ops. vs. TA vs. Comp vs. Benefits vs. Payroll, etc. I know work experience is the best barometer, but what can supplement this?

My dog has become more territorial and aggressive in the past year and I don’t know why. He is a 7 year old shihtzu. He has also recently started lunging and snipping at other people’s feet if they get too close. Cont’d in comments . . .
