Life coaching = pyramid scheme
My life coach is a mirror. He loves me and thinks I’m doing a great job.
Skip life coach and get a therapist
Never known a successful senior executive that’s woken up on a Tuesday and said, “That’s it. I’ve achieved so much through my leadership career and board work and now it’s time to give back. I’m resigning as CEO of MegaFirm and training to be a certified life coach!”
They’re almost always former real estate agents, insurance brokers, or unemployed mid-level professionals that are struggling to find a real job.
Mentor(s) + Therapist + Friends might be a more reliable way to construct a support system.
They are normally therapists. Therapists turned life coach are the way to go
I disagree with the comments in the thread so far. A quality functional coach can be a total game changer in doing self actualization work and helping you figure out what you truly desire in life.
The real challenge is to find the right coach that is aligned with what you’re looking for.
TOTALLY
Are you serious with this question? If they are so good in life they wouldn’t be a life coach. You’ll be a loser paying someone who can’t get a real job.
Wtf are you talking about. OP don’t listen to these idiots, life coaches are great. Check out the women’s consulting bowl for mature responses

All valid comments above. I would say Life coaches you need to be careful of. I’m both a coach and therapist and the two roles are very different.
Most people who come for coaching would actually be better of in some kind of counselling.
Coaching is better for people who gravitate to the task - rather than relationships at work. It all depends - do you have a goal or an objective??
