Anyone have a sleep tracker you're happy with? I would like to get a sense for how much I actually sleep while laying in bed at night (without the electrodes). I picked up a Polar Vantage M2 for this but the sleep and wake times are very inaccurate so far which make me skeptical of the other tracking features.

Garmin is good.

Whoop is top of the line but you have to decide if the subscription cost is worth it.

Whoop is great. I used for a month and really loved how the sleep tracker not only gave me a variety of metrics on how I slept, disturbances, etc... but translated the score into a forecast of how I was going to function/perform the following day.

Returned during the trial period bc I wasn't prepared to commit to the monthly cost.

I love my whoop!!!! Best sleep tracker out there. Lots of data. Great podcast to lean about what they are doing.

I've read mixed reviews so far on the usefulness of the strain scores and accuracy of the HR monitor. Have you found it to be pretty intuitive and accurate?

I use AutoSleep with my Apple Watch and love it!

Sleep Cycle on the iPhone tracked just fine for years. Crazy that a watch would track poorly.

It cuts off my night early when I get up to use the bathroom or close a window, and I lose half the night of data because it thinks I'm done sleeping. You can't manually correct either.

I love love love the app SleepWatch. I use it with my Apple Watch, the sleep and wake times are shockingly accurate. I use the free version and it works great for me

Hi everyone, I am looking for advice on getting to the same company but in a different country. I had an internship at multinational FMCG company in purchasing in country 1 (5 ys ago). I then went studying abroad to country 2 and stayed doing the jobs which came with the visa - sales/accounting/marketing but all for really small companies (20 e-s max). I keep dreaming about getting back to FMCG co but in country 2. Applied directly/chatted to ex coworkers in country 1 - no luck. Any advice?

How would you rate your ratios for work, play, and rest?

My life's mostly been 85% work/serious stuff (includes academia), 10% rest, and 5% play.

I've only started to learn to rest more this year and learning to accept lower productivity (was part of the hustle culture).

Q: How do I learn the concept of play? Didn't have that in my childhood growing up. All serious, no fun. Has anyone transitioned successfully?

Newbie question: I’m looking to lose the last ~15 lbs and put on some lean muscle. Female, new to weightlifting. I’m getting a lot of conflicting advice online. Currently Im planning to eat in a deficit (CICO), and do a fully body routine focused on compound movements 3x a week. I already do cardio 3/4x per week. Is this ideal? Should I be lifting more? Im seeing some people say lift 6x a week and some say you need recovery days

People with yards, how often do you take your dog(s) on walks?

We have 2 older dogs (7-8yo) and about to move from our apartment to a townhouse with space for them outside. In the apt, we’d do 3 walks a day - 2 long (1-1.5mi) and 1 bathroom break before bed. I’m wondering what to expect with the shift to yard life. TIA!
