Iâm waiting for my background check as I accepted an offer for Remote Licensed Insurance Customer Service Rep. While Iâm a 1099 for my current role, I still havenât told them I am leaving for a full time role that can change my life. Itâs a small agency, and Iâve gotten close with the director. Sheâs the employment reference I gave; Iâm a nervous that when they receive the call to verify employment, my days will be difficult. Iâd hate to be let go before I start with LM. Thoughts? It doesnât sound like heâs picky it sounds like you donât know how to season your food lol. You can cook whole and healthy foods by seasoning them so that they are flavorful.
As someone who also focuses on bodybuilding - seasoning doesnât usually add a ton of calories. Spices are low to no calorie, and you can try marinades. Are you also into bodybuilding? The food is super bland and hard to eat after a while, so maybe try eating with more flavorful foe instead of resorting to take out.
My parents were also very busy and âfend for yourselfâ types sooo yeah I never learned much honestly. Iâm into fitness! He is too but weâve both been off our game for a year now as life has gotten busy as we navigate new careers.
Director 1 terrible advice. OP, try to find restaurants that have healthy options that satisfy your wants but also options that your husband likes. In terms of home cooking, try your best to find meals that are healthy superfoods that also taste good to your husband - itâs extremely hard but can be done with experimentation and effort. Good luck!

If âSome nightsâ is one/two nights a week itâs totally fine. There are healthy options even when you want to indulge. Itâs the flavor of spices and does not necessarily need to be battered or fried. Meat a couple of nights a week is also fine.

As the picky eater in my relationship, I think he's just looking for more variety. I usually make chicken breast or salmon with veggies pretty much every night. Look into ways to make your meals more exciting. Ask what kind of meals he likes. Also- are you the only one cooking- ask him to cook once or twice a week.
