Anyone have advice on what to invest in within a Roth IRA? Diverse set of ETFs, buy and hold high dividend stocks? Pretty new to investing and the current climate is making me overthink everything as well. Thanks!

A diversified portfolio of canned food and ammunition - but seriously if you don’t know then you should probably talk to an advisor. No shame is asking for help if you don’t have the specialized education for it.

S&P 500 mutual fund, blue chip mutual fund, Technology sector mutual fund, retirement date mutual fund, and Tesla lol

Lol whatever you do don’t hold dividend stocks. Dividends you still have to pay taxes on and defeat the purpose of a Roth which is avoiding taxes

You wouldn't have to pay taxes on anything held inside a Roth.

I NEED HELP WITH CREDIT SCORE issues: Two months ago my credit score went down by 30 to 40 points due to dad missing credit card payment by a day (i got added to as authorized user on his credit card for me to build credit but now I’m filled with regret). I was devastated by it. This past month I have been making more payments and paid off my aug statement in full thinking it will boost my credit score. But I don’t know why it went down another 10 points. More below:

How do I start a brokerage account at Fidelity (just using that since my kids 529 and my 401k are there)? Do I need to call them? I just don’t want stuff sitting in my checking account and my student loans are now paid off so I will end up netting more every month…any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated. Side note - I won’t be day trading or anything…I just want to give it to a brokerage firm and let them do their thing.

A bit freaked out by my “generalist” approach to litigation so far. Almost two years in and couldn’t really say I’m that “good” in any one area.

Don’t really have my own clients, and I feel like in order for me to gain the confidence necessary to obtain them, I need to specialize in SOMETHING.

Million dollar question - any areas of litigation seen as being a good specialty to get into now/for the future?
