Help please. Microsoft federal just got back to me for a sales role at level 64. . Base 160$ + incentives 30 % of base (if quota met) + stock + bonus. This is out of DC location. My current base salary is about 20% higher but for a different role at Accenture in non-federal side. YOE is 15. Does this seem low?
Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

I’m a senior and my total comp at a tech company is 180k, I’m not even at the top of my band I don’t think. So you should be over 200k TC for sure.
I think ACD is an IC4 in terms of pay grade so think 10% annual bonus, 160k base, 100k-200k stock/4 years (I.e. 25k - 50k/yr) is probably competitive.
I’d try to interview at multiple tech companies at the same time and try to push the offer higher. Negotiate a signing bonus too. 10-20k.
Oh then def push for IC5 then. I think at most places that bumps bonus to 15% too.
In-house promotions are harder to come by compared to agency side since you have to go through the tech bureaucracies so def come in as high as you can.
I’m at a fintech. 180k base + 15% bonus.
Creative Lead role at Apple pays roughly 195k
CD level
These numbers are in range with where I am as an Ic4
IC stands for individual contributor. In tech, these designations matter more than a pure title for salary, bonus, stock and equity.
Salary is important but more so look at total comp (TC) that will be salary, equity, & annual bonus. Tech pays well but the salary isn’t all of it for sure.
Thanks
Generally I’ve heard salaries are on the lower end of the range. But as above said, gotta take stock into account.
Yeah I hear they beat stock at 12.5% every 6 months – all in the negotiations i guess
