Thoughts on bringing back this retro drip? 🤔
I noped out of Zoloft after the first night. It was the worst experience I ever had, and I felt like I’d rather die.
Talk to your therapist about it. If you do want to continue, your provider should closely monitor you.
(Cont.)Believe I have health related anxieties - as ever since college when I went to ER after a night of drugs/alchol I could feel my heart beat going crazy. Ever since that night I am super vigilante and aware or heart beat in almost a way where it scares me that we’re so reliant on something to keep us alive. But the medication I believe is making me even more internalized and noticing body feelings
Give it time!!!! It takes a good 6 to 8 weeks to level off. It’s too soon to say if the dose or medication is wrong for you. Hang in there!!!
I understand and went through this recently myself. The lack of sleep makes the anxiety worse for sure. After 2 weeks if there’s no improvement give your doctor a call. In the meantime, when you feels those physical signs of panic, do your best to do some self talk that you know where it is coming from and that you don’t need to assign something to panic about to that feeling. Also, cut caffeine and alcohol is you haven’t already, even in the temporary. My anxiety plummeted when I stopped drinking coffee
Talk to your therapist. Perhaps they can adjust you to a lower dose and slowly work your way up to a therapeutic level?
I know how tough the first month or two can be - hang in there & take good care of yourself. It does get better in time!
The doctor will just tell you to take it at night. You can also break it in half at first. It made me so sleepy and a zombie.
