Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?

Honestly depends on where you went to undergrad
That’s a big part of it for me, thanks for pointing that iut
Are you going back to your firm? Are you ok with not doing an internship? Obviously the opportunity cost is lower, but I’d rather do the two year (more leadership opportunities, growth, exploration, larger more diverse class).
2 years does generally sound better for all those reasons D2. I’m just weighing the advantages against lower total costs (incl opportunity costs) of the 1 year
Having just gone through the one year MBA search and admissions process, I’ll tell you that Cornell out of all the one-year programs stress the importance of already having a grad degree if you want to be taken seriously. Also, D2 makes a great point about the benefits of a two year if you are fairly young (I’m 30 and already have a MS in stats). If you don’t want the two-year experience, check out northwestern, Emory, NYU’s tech mba, and notre dame
Not necessarily, but the admissions people are looking for very clear and defined post-MBA objectives, and that clarity is likely to be found in people with more experience. As others have mentioned, a big selling point to applicants of two-year programs is the opportunity to explore new fields or industries using your summer internship. Since you don’t have that with a one-year, you need to be very clear that you’re not just doing it because it’s shorter than the two-year Cornell and NYU both take this approach, but Kellogg seemed less focused on that specificity. I didn’t look much into Norte dame and Emory because I wanted to end up in NYC or Chicago
