Anyone have any experience working for Vynamic? What are your thoughts ?

What's going on with hiring at Deloitte? Start dates being pushed back in GPS. Experienced hires are still waiting on written offer letters 2-3 weeks later and being told that there aren't enough projects right now so they're pushing start dates from June to August. Is this typical?

New to freelancing, at the same gig since mid-June. It started as a 3-week gig, but extended multiple times. Since Oct, I’ve gotten persistent emails to complete some corporate training course. I assumed as a freelancer I was exempt. After replying “corporate training isn’t in my contract,” I got a personal email stating that I’m not exempt. The last day of my contract is in 2 weeks and I’m not planning on renewing, even if they offer. Are freelancers often required to do training?

It’s been a month since my suicide attempt. Life isn’t perfect but I’m recovering and I’m here! :)

Why is it so hard to save any additional money every month once I started paying daycare among other things. My wife and I are very good with money too and have very good salaries. 200k+ HHI. Granted we do contribute 10% (me) and 12% (her) to retirement so not exactly like we’re not saving nothing. Anyone else feel like their checking account doesn’t move much month by month with young kid(s) 😂? I do save $300/month for my son’s 529 plan as well since he’ll likely be going to private HS.

Been wfh for the past 6 months...pretty sure parents don't think I have a job anymore

I know we often talk about self-care after work, but what are some ways you practice self-care at work? My co-worker recently suggested keeping tea in my desk and making it before meetings/on break.

I got laid off in March due to Covid and I’ve been chilling on unemployment ever since, but alas, all good things must come to an end. Damn I’m dreading jumping back into PA though... the longer I’ve been away, the more I realize how soul sucking it was.
