Anyone have any former classmates you can’t figure out how they made it out of law school and is now doing better than you? It’s a crazy world.

That’s life and I’ve just had to accept that different people value different things, and so I have to say good on those that are doing well.

Yeah happens all the time. I wouldn’t say better but I’m surprised at where they’ve ended up

We all have different paths. Don't compare yourself to someone else's success. I'm sure you're doing just fine!

I'm probably one of those people. I think it's important to focus on yourself, your career and what you'd like out of it. If you want to measure your own success using others as a benchmark I'm not sure you will find what you're looking for. Stay hungry, hustle hard and judge not.

Maybe we should implement something like automatic posts refresh? I got a notification about "someone like mypost" but it isn't displaying at the post title...

How great would office emojis be in this app?

what are yours side gigs?

Looks like a massive Exodus happened in Deloitte? Trying to staff a project and there is literally no one to staff with (at least Salesforce practice) and we are having to reach out to contractors. Is this a result of layoffs that happened last year and folks are purely unhappy with pay (not considering project pressure as that can vary/be subjective)? For folks who have been here for a long time, is this a common occurrence or is it especially bad this time around?

Project is asking me to travel the week my wife is due to have a baby or else get an exemption from HR. Is this normal or is my firm just not supportive? KPMG if anyone is looking to join.

What salary did you find that you no longer had to worry about money? Basically you didn't have to think twice about buying something you want For reference, currently make 135k in a T2 city but am the sole earner for my family and also have 1200/month in student loans, so still feel like I'm not there yet.

If you’re refusing to wear a mask, can you explain to me why? For the life of me I can’t understand why this a divisive issue. (I won’t judge you in the comments, but I can’t speak for everyone else)

If you could go back and change one thing about your 20’s, what would it be and how do you think it would affect your life now?

How to compensate for long term unemployment? After getting let go from McK earlier this year, I've been unemployed for close to 6 months and explaining it to prospective employers is awkward and uncomfortable. Any advice on how to navigate this?

If you had 1 month PTO but couldn't travel, what would you do at home?

Husband buys flowers from publix , takes me to a bar with 45 mins wait and finally to a random place for dinner- is it reasonable to be mad ?

I showed my project team a few pictures from my hunting trip out in Idaho a few weeks ago and now they all hate me now. Ugh I shouldn’t have tried to be social...

Not sure how consulting firms expect to retain talent out of undergrad if they barely raise pay. Left consulting after 1 year, end of 2nd year and I’m at 180k comp now with friends at D and PWC barely hitting 85. I know seniors at D not even making 100k

What is something you wish you should have known earlier, that would have helped you even more with your career and may have gotten you where you are now, faster? (e.g., Making a name of yourself in the company, getting promotions, salary increases, building good relationships with clients/leadership etc)

Flying coach for the first time in 10 years. I didn’t even know there were seats back here Why is this person jabbing her elbow into me? Where are my warm nuts?

What’s the most exciting corporate job, regardless of pay?

Just got a job offer from PWC! 😁But for some reason, the offer letter is addressed to Emma Stone?

I’m 26 and live across the country from my parents. The last time I saw them was 8 months ago and I miss them :( how often is normal to see ur parents as you get older??
