Have you been diagnosed with it?
If self diagnosed, it may be stress related. Stress works in mysterious ways.
I used to get fasciculations (somewhat related to tics). I realized that managing stress better and getting rid of gluten helped.

Try elimination diet for 2-3 weeks by taking gluten out of your diet. It is hidden in everything so you have to read labels even for soy sauce and salad dressings. It may or may not work. You would need some patience and discipline.
Also, try some exercises and see if they help reduce the stress.
These things do not go away overnight and take some time.
I am no doctor but I found out my issues through experimentation. You know your body better than anyone else so give it a try.

I have a good friend with Tourette- this may or may not be an option for you, but smoking up is one of the very few things that’s worked in leveling him out. He’s battled with pretty bad Tourette’s his whole life and is now on disability (military vet), and has tried just about everything to curb it. Anyway, throwing that out there as something to consider.
