Whatever you say, say it with confidence. Oldest but best trick in the book. Good luck!
Any public speaking tip is a proxy for confidence.
Here's one: Discuss the talk with people before. Not the same as practising the talk - that's just memorising words. Discuss the content of the talk with people before, which will help you make sure you know the detail well, can explain it, will give you a sense of the questions that arise.

Many good suggestions here:
Dont fill empty space with ‘um’. Its okay to pause for a second. It gives the audience time to digest your message
Join a Toastmasters club
Try to mingle with “the audience” before the presentation to get a better feel for their interests and just to make some connections beforehand. It always makes me feel a little less nervous and more in control when I do that!
1) Tell them what you are going to tell them
2) Tell them
3) Tell them what you told them
- Go slow, pause and smile a few times
Be confident, be competitive, be intrinsically motivated, and speak with purpose.
If the room is large i like to also move to different spots in the room during the presentation. So that way i can engage with everyone and it feels more like a group conversation
Do a standup comedy class
Look at the wall just above the line of sight of the audience if it's a nerve wrecking audience
Join a toastmaster group.
Write down what you want to say, say it out loud, refine the message, do it again.
Speak or present every opportunity you get.
Like with anything that you want to do better, do it more, get feedback, incorporate the best feedback.

Practice and know your content! It makes it that much easier to be confident. Also, keep it relatively casual... use everyday language and be interactive.
If you think you're speaking too fast, you are. Slow down and pronounce all of the syllabes in all of the words
I go to the room I am presenting before my presentation. Often the first person in the room. It helps calm me down as I am able to look each person in the face as they walk in
Best pieces of advice I’ve gotten:
1) Wear something that you feel great in. New shoes, great socks, your nicest suit— whatever makes you feel kickass
2) Find a wine cork. Practice the speech once through with the wine cork in your mouth. First, it will force you to speak at a good, slow pace and over-articulate. Second, you will feel ridiculous. It’ll be better when you practice from that point forward WITHOUT the wine cork
The audience is just as nervous as you are before you begin. Embrace the adrenaline!
Keep your content people oriented.
