Anyone have any insight to how I’ve acquired an accelerated teacher’s certification?

I’ll be taking out a lot in MBA loans, so I want to recruit for the best possible company across IB, consulting, and tech. I care more about the employer brand than the job, and if I despise it, I’ll leave after 1 - 2 yrs for wlb. Any advice on how to recruit to maximize for this? Could I recruit mainly for BBs, MBB, and FAANG?

Finished my MBA and recieved a Senior Consultant offer from EY (3YOE). The pay (90 base+ 10 signing) is what I was making in manufacturing ops pre-MBA (with a guaranteed raise of 10% every year). Negotiating the pay right now but is it worth switching to consulting and taking this "pay cut"? Is the big4 grind worth?

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?

It looks like I’m going to go 0/3 on my MBB apps :( Where are the next best consulting firms to go to assuming that my primary goals in no particular order are MBA placement, compensation, project/industry variety, and ability to be promoted quickly?

Looking for negotiation advice between these two offers for a Program Manager. Currently a Sr Project Manager in tech w/ 16 YOE, with PMP and CSM and SAFe certifications. I teach at a middle school and she was a parent chaperone for a, rather lengthy, field trip a couple of years ago. At that time we got to know each other a little. In the meantime, her son finished at our school and went on to high school.

I ran into her a couple of nights ago and she made it pretty clear that she would like to spend some time together. I will say I was a bit ambivalent in my response.

Is there any sort of rule/law preventing workplaces from calling students during the school day? A few of my students will get calls during the day about taking shifts and other matters. It seems really inappropriate and inconsiderate since their managers know they're in school.
