There are some roles at Huron that have reduced travel.. depending on experience
Memelord had a kid and now wants out. Meme bowl expects constant 🔥. I approve this move.
ECG is def less on travel.
Formerly IMS Health and Quintiles, we merged in late 2016 as QuintilesIMS. We rebranded as IQVIA last November

We definitely may have weeks or months with the levels I shared. Sometimes local teams are on site 3-4 days per week but they are local. I would not say that it never happens, however. It is just not the standard here.
Not sure what your question about onboarding rates means? We do not require referrals. I am happy to connect offline - send me a burner.

OP, ZS does mostly bio pharma/biotech consulting (no provider work but I could be wrong). It’s in healthcare, but more specific to life sciences. Not sure how much overlap there is with your case work at McBee
Same at Navigant, depending on client and home base
Yes, much different. I too interviewed at IMS years ago (>10), and didn’t like what I found - they really didn’t have a proper consulting capability back then, just a bit of analytics grafted on top of the core data business - so I went with an offer from a different health care consultancy. Very different prospect nowadays, and doing some really exciting stuff. Culture is pleasant in my experience, albeit very quarterly driven (consequence of being a publicly traded company rather than a partnership). Been here nearly a year now, and glad I made the switch - better work life balance, substantially less travel.
I’d love to talk to you about it! Burner?
Insight strategy advisors doesn't require travel. We work from our office on NYC and only travel 1-3 times per project.
Booz Allen. Federal healthcare consulting is mostly remote (can go to office and see people if you want) or local on client site.
McBee - what do you consider prolonged and constant? ZSers do travel (varies a lot by location) but it is not even close to the 4 days every week lifestyle. As a C, I traveled 3-4 overnights a month. As a P with non-local clients and internal responsibilities, travel is more like 2-3 days per week but I do have weeks with 0 or 1 day.
@zs2 prolonged like weeks or months at a time on site for project mgmt or interim mgmt. I am okay with travelling for conferences and sales like ive always done, but yeah...weeks and months are a no go
Also, what are the onboarding rates with no referral
