Find out what their scale is. Are you starting at the bottom? My company starts lower level people at 16 and upper level (including all attorneys) at 21. We're also very generous.

Yes. Baseline was 2 weeks for new hires, I was granted 6 weeks (at then current employer). Told new employer I did not expect them to match but did hope they would increase from 2 weeks. Landed at 3 weeks and still here with my rollover exceeding 4 every year.

Its also important to understand how strict they are about taking it. My current boss doesn’t let me take it unless I’m actually not working. Some companies micro manage.

Thank God for unlimited PTO - i.e. my current job

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

There are a lot of people using the terms baseless, without merit, and unfounded to describe Trump’s voter fraud claims from the 2020 election. This concerns me because I don’t think people have come to that conclusion using reason. The media just keeps repeating it with he said she said quotes, and people believe it. I have already covered illegal votes from postal in GA in another thread. Now I will expose GA’s Sec of State for his incompetence. (Cont)

How do my fellow automotive fish feel about buying a used 911 4S convertible ? About 10 years old, maybe like 60k miles and up to 3 owners. Always wanted a nice car and honestly can’t afford a new 911 so thinking about this. Seeing some around 60-70k and plan to use for 5-7 years and hopefully then sell for about half (30-40 k). Is the idea feasible and anything I should be concerned about? Any tips (like model year / trim) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I do have 2,5 years of experience in my field and strong referrals.
