Not a goal, but more of a tip. You are the manager on the job and are responsible to manage everyone on the engagement from staff, all the way up to the partner. Don’t assume the partner is too busy. if you need something from them, get them to set aside time to get it done.
I encourage you to step back and reflect on life and your career and think about what you want to achieve and what skills you want to develop. These should be decisions and goals you set for yourself and not something you pick up from others.
When it comes to more detailed manager specific goals, I think it can be a blend of self developed goals (I would expect you to have sufficient insight to develop your own) plus goals developed working with you coach and supervisors. A few items to think about: develop a deep knowledge and understanding of your industry focus....read articles about the business aspects of the industry; take more ownership of the client relationship as a manager...drive proactive communication and mutual goal setting of expectations, responsibilities and deliversbles; and be the coach/supervisor to your staff that they deserve.....proactively provide real time feedback both positive and constructive, help them with their goals, teach them in real time, write their formal evals immediately and they finish assignments, etc.
Good luck
Seriously, I second the senior above. Senior 3 here and I wish I saw this type of comment / support from my leadership. I envy your team P1.
Leave audit.
