Use Zillow or redfin. If you want 1% back, use a redfin agent. But since you are first time buyer, I’d highly recommend a good local agent (ebby halliday etc.) and an independent inspector.

20% down for good rates - 30 year fixed if u like to avoid market vagaries - ARM is a terrible idea for high cost homes > 1.5Mm

I’m the only woman on an all men team. This is my very first corporate job out of college. Have limited office experience. My team is super nice, but I think I’m too careful- keep my distance a bit too much. I feel like I need to befriend them and develop a more friendly relationship. I want to be professional though. I also really need to get closer to the partner bc of my visa issue and I think partners are the key people to vouch for you. But I don’t want it to seem weird..

During the difficult time, be mindful while going out for protest. Being an immigrant, it’s a high risk for your visa renewal. There is ongoing police activity and probability of getting your name in police record, which will impact your visa renewal. Be careful and stay safe and don’t do anything which is unlawful in a foreign country (not that you do unlawful in your home country).
