PwC India Folks, heard from someone that AC Kolkata will publish hike letters next week. Please vidate this info.
Also, if i resign now/next week and my last working date is after July 31st, i can still get my hike and bonus, correct? This is written in the employee handbook and my offer letter. I would appreciate if someone who has greater insights to reconfirm this.

I’ve always heard a counter offer to get you to stay is just giving your current employer time to replace you now that they know you’re looking elsewhere
I did this, but I didn’t go looking for the new job. A friend randomly called and said “I’m building a new dept and want you to run it” and offered me a salary more than twice what I was currently making. I was actually really happy at my current job, told my boss about the opportunity and they doubled my salary and I stayed. That was 3 years ago and I’m still here! It’s doable...
Dangerous game to play. You dont want to stay if thats what you have to do.
At big holding companies, it's often the only way to get a raise. Only bring it to your manager if you're willing to leave, but if you're open and honest and say you'd love to find a way to stay given the current offer, then you don't have anything to lose.
Yep - that. Be ready to leave, but it’s often how it works at an agency within a holding company
Be prepared to walk away
I didn’t even ask the old agency to beat it; just match it and I’ll stay. They said the offer ($) from the new place was a non-starter for them. (Too high to even negotiate) I thanked them for the experience and the growth and put in my two weeks. I was also staying in the same holding company, so...I don’t know if that had any bearing on the decision. If I were the holding company; I’d rather match it and avoid having to pay employee relo. Unless that relo amount was equivalent to the salary raise...🤷♂️
