I think I’ve given up on the notion of Project Management and Account Management ever working in harmony.
Creatives, Strategists, Developers are great to work with, collaborative, trusting, etc. But I can count on 1 hand the number of Account folks I’ve enjoyed working with over a long career at many agencies. Anyone ever make the jump to an internal PM role with no client work?

I keep hearing this is a job seeker's market but even with 10+ yrs project mgt experience, 2 industry certs & great recommendations I'm having a tough time finding roles at a higher level than Project Manager.(tech, marketing, agency). Tips for dealing with an older managing partner? I have plenty of older partners who are east to deal with, but the managing partner is stuck in 1995 and doesn’t seem to grasp how technology can be incorporated nor does he understand how to attract talent from younger generations. I like my firm, but I want to know how to approach these issues without offending him.

Been interviewing for front end dev - 5YOE. Had been with Deloitte USI as a Consultant back in India. Applying for big 4's and tech firms but seems like they have been taking forever to review the applications (2-3 weeks now for few since applied!)

Have one offer from CGI as Sr.Con for 105k. Does anyone know how good/not good is CGI in terms of work, culture, WLB, perks?

I got a an offer from a US company, who processed by I-797 pre-approval via I-129 premium processing. Although I-797 is already valid (valid from is in the past), attorney is telling me to enter US just 10 days before start date. Is it 10 calendar days or business days? Also, wondering how did you guys handle notice period ? Did you resign after going to US?
