I successfully negotiated a paid ramp-up period since my company’s unlimited PTO policy meant I didn’t have any accrued time to put toward the unpaid days at the end of my FMLA Leave. (Some was paid by short term disability, some was paid sick time, some was parental leave — my old parent company Advantage did not have a progressive policy.) see the doc for lots of details and good luck!
