I got this set up a couple weeks ago. I can generally work efficiently when what I'm doing is reading/reviewing and running meetings. It's harder when I'm doing fiddly things like aligning stuff on slides or working on something really technical that I have to concentrate on.
I like having the option to sit, stand, or walk. So usually I will stand for the focus stuff and try to walk during my meetings, and sit when I'm tired. I don't walk when I'm in meetings that require camera because you can really tell, but I will stand for those. I find I actually focus better when I'm standing. With this arrangement I generally spend 4-5 hours standing, 2-3hrs walking, and the rest sitting.
Also I used our well-being subsidy to by my desk riser and walking pad :)
I got this one: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08SLP2L99?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
my only caution is to check weight limits as your exploring these online. many have a 200lb weight limit and really getting close to the limit will reduce the functionality. The one linked has a max weight of 265lbs.
Ooh. Yes I am thinking about getting one of these too. Following…
Love it, but have found that I can’t go much faster than 2mph or I get distracted. It really helps to calm my neuro-divergency.
