Anyone have experience with leaving a company after a year due to not being able to transfer to a specific office?

Junior M&A associate, I have almost no work (billing 2-3 hours/day if any) and kind of starting to worry me. Moving to the ‘on site’ interviews for a Strategy role. If I were to make it through, I am a little worried about the HC process - I’m not really an impressive candidate on paper (average CV, state school, etc.) is there anything I can do during the actual interviews to offset that? Particular things I can highlight?

How much have you spent on bridesmaid duties? First timer here & so far, I’m around $1k for all expenses for the bachelorette & wedding weekend & seem to be the only one thinking about whether we really need to spend $30 more on something that isn’t necessary, even though I’m pretty sure I have the highest salary out of everyone. That also makes me feel even more of a wet blanket since I can spend it, I just know that $30 incidentals quickly add up to an additional $500 for a Bach weekend.

There isn't much difference in pay , fractal paying a bit more on fixed part
