No experience but just wanted to say I’m really happy you are looking for support and resources for an accommodation for her.

Go to askjan.org That's the go-to for job accomodations.

Also, be sure to engage in an interactive process with the employee to come up with the accommodations that will best suit the individual's needs. Depending on the type of M.S. the type of accomodation needed may be different than what is needed later. Don't just assume - engage the employee in the discussion to fully comply with the ADA. Slippery slope and jan.org is a great resource.

Hi, you can start by identifying what are the functional limitations the employee is having to perform the essential job functions, most of the time is good to have a description of the job the employee perform and have the employee’s doctor to identify what the employee can and can’t perform based on the medical condition. Remember that under ADA the employer is required in a good faith to have an IPM to identify reasonable accommodation, reasonable accommodation are defined as any modification that would allow the employee to perform his job at the same level as any other employee, per law employers are not required to lower performance standards, create a job, or displace any other employee to accommodate. I would like to be able to help you more, but I would need more information.

Ask the employee what the physician is recommending. My employee requested to have Dragon software installed and equipment to use it as well. We also brought in a Dragon rep to train the employee for a couple of weeks afterwards.

I’m fairly certain you can find some info under the ADA, SHRM or the DOL. https://www.abovems.com/en_us/home/living-with-ms/work-finances/working-with-ms.html?cid=PPC-GOOGLE-Above+MS_DTC_Unbranded_Condition+Management_Tertiary_Phrase~S~PH~UB~NER~DTC~LIF-multiple+sclerosis+and+work-NA-p50726490652&gclid=CjwKCAjwr56IBhAvEiwA1fuqGsR1rSrbWGcWuMCfFXe97SIVV7EYlTYvaiAo4ixrDXc5XzZhILL1zRoChSoQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have experience doing basic data analysis but not at the level of a data scientist. What would you recommend I do to gain these data scientist skills? I came across a post boasting about perks in big4 vs park in Witch companies, here are my input 1. I started my career with big4. Although it gave a lots of perk to keep you grounded or get you in comfort zone some major cons were A. Out dated technology stack B. No work life balance C. This big 4 always carry tapes to measure your performance. 2. I recently joined a witch company and here are my inputs A. Latest tech stakes but slow pace of work B. No long working hours (gov job)
