It’s split between payer consulting and provider. Provider is basically the former Advisory Board consulting group, and is more traditional consulting with a heavier travel schedule. Team is all over, but two offices in DC and Nashville. Payer is a lot of UHC work and other payers - and is heavily remote and based in MN.
Unless you’re in MN don’t expect any fair treatment when it comes to promotion and raises
I left last year when more then half my team left due to same reason. If you’re lucky you may not get screwed over
But I’ll say that Work life balance is amazing.

OP - how did you find your position? Is it remote? Any updates? I am looking for payer focused roles, preferably remote and looking for tips
I applied on their website. They have/had quite a few payer roles just need to know what practice area you want to be in. For example, I'll be in population health. I will be traveling like most consulting roles M-R and WFH on Fri.
