Anyone have experience working with both Guidehouse and EY (public sector division)? Weighing out two offers, similar pay, senior consultant level.

Yes. I’ve worked at both.

One is a CPA firm owned by partners. One is owned by PE who will need an exit from their investment.

Your long term career trajectory will look different. Think more of a BAH staffing model for GH. But I think you can probably get more pay their in the short term.

EY1 is correct and I agree with this assessment. I have worked at both firms.

I’ve worked at both. They’re both still figuring themselves out (EY specifically for GPS, Guidehouse in general). I’ve heard less-than-stellar things about GH recently from their folks who work on a client site I also work at. Generally don’t recommend. What part of public sector? Technology? PMO?

like

If you’re a hands-on-keyboard developer, I’d choose neither. For analytics, architecture, platform implementation—EY. For IT PMO or business analyst roles—GH.

And yes, I've constantly asked throughout this entire year yet nothing has happened only promises that its coming soon or I'll be included in upcoming xyz.
