My spouse and I are applying for a new mortgage and my lender looked up our credit scores and suggested that the mortgage is done only for me and not include my spouse as my score was in the top bracket. She is earning as well and i wanted to understand the risk of taking mortgage only on me:
1 - will we end up having issues filing for taxes jointly and show deductions etc?

I’m not too familiar with the “unspoken norms” of finance, but interviewing and networking with other firms (quite literally the people I’m competing against everyday) seems difficult to wrap my head around.

Is it worth being leveled down to join FAANG? currently an SFA on a path to manager in another 12-18 months at mid tier F500. Worth it to be down leveled to FA level (financial analyst) to have Meta, Amazon Etc on your resume?
