Joined a month ago as a functional consultant I am currently on bench and got many project calls till now which are 100% irrelevant to my profile so they directly told me that we are looking for someone else
But i requested many projet POCS that I am ready to learn and work on whatever the technology it maybe as I am worried regarding my job .

How do you manage to keep your learning curve high and get on new projects frequently? My bench time is low, but I keep finding myself on long-term projects where I get bored after a while. Tried multiple times to address it but as key resource on a project partners and clients are usually not willing to let you go.

Signed up to volunteer while on the bench, got staffed and flew cross country this week... I know it's selfish but damn I just want to sleep.

I’m a new SM at b4. Shipped to a harsh client the organization is not sending any of its long tenured ppl to because tough environment, not exhilarating work. I have a team of 2 under me but it’s a back office transformation with long hours. Could be adding more value elsewhere, in sales, BD, strategic pursuits, etc but bogged down with 16 hour dreadful days. Do we think I can make an argument to be rolled off or will I be perceived unfavorably? I’m new so optics matter. Advice?
