Can anyone please confirm who has recently joined HSBC. Is it currently work from home for a while or a hybrid working, because currently HSBC is onboarding virtually so is it the same case for working also?

Also, There was no joining date on my offer letter neither I have any document containing my joining date….I just have a confirmation over an email from the HR and can see my insurance benefits w.e.f. date on workday portal.

Hello - have been approached by KMPG Australia for an associate director role in ops advisory (ex Auckland/Wellington boutique consultancy). Any insight into the salary package I should be looking for (14 years experience), as well as Sydney or Melbourne would be much appreciated!

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Looking to move into an upper level management position. I have about 7 years of 1st level management experience without a college degree. Obtaind a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering 2 years ago and moved right into a masters in engineering management which will be completed this year.

Any thoughts or advice on making this transition? I am looking at a few director level positions. Advice especially welcome from decision makers that hire at this level.

So i had absconded from my previous company. I returned all the company stuff & i put a mail to my manager as well. & after a year i had to pay up for the 2month notice period that I didn't serve. & then they gave me my relieving letter as well. Now after 2 year i have received an offer from a reputed mnc and they are gonna do a background verification. I do have the relieving letter. Will this effect my employment? Should i explain my situation at that time to them? Will they even ask?

Aussie 🐠 here. Be aware that when you see clips/photos of the Sydney central station pepper spray, the police were blocking the main exits and corralling people to platforms 15 & 16 before they started spraying.
I’ve seen a lot of media portray it as “people who refused to leave after the peaceful LEGAL protest finished” (implying that this was illegal and not peaceful) but... why were they at central station then? Maybe they were waiting for trains to go home?

Any e-scooter suggestions and the things to consider before getting one?
