Has anyone or your friends witnessed transfer of payroll from MNC companies (Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture,Wipro, Infosys,etc). to HSBC. If yes how much hike they give ? How much time they take? Or other information you would like to share ?

I don’t know who needs to hear this but…Bullying by proxy is a situation where A bullies B at the behest of or based on direction from C. This is a difficult to detect form of bullying and it’s notoriously resistant to organizational anti bullying policies.

Been trying so hard to pivot into a consulting role, but at this point I feel like I should just stick to tax and audit SMH

Sharing a thought from the leadership layer. Many times, for people who aren’t members of the majority to get a seat at the table (or even into the room), they have to be extraordinary. This doesn’t come without potential challenges. It’s important to be able to work well with others. If you’re not able to do that, you may not advance. Working well with others includes (unfortunately) navigating their unconscious biases. Can be frustrating, but you can do this! Please share your perspective.

When seeking roles consulting companies, it’s important to understand that these companies have different career paths. & that Black talent tends to be funneled to certain career paths -which more often than not = less prestigious $/or financially rewarding as their “traditional” career paths. Example:Deloitte USDC. It’s also noteworthy that some companies will push Black talent into certain verticals. Do due diligence when seeking roles. If you have company specific info on this, pls share

Looking for a referral at Bain !

Dealing with this now on a project so here’s a reminder: you don’t have to work 24 hrs/day to be a top performer. In fact, when you’re sending emails at all hours of the night, you’re probably costing yourself key opportunities because leadership will see that and try to protect you from yourself because you’re “too busy”.

Impact > activity. Act accordingly.
