Where in the neck? I ask because the thyroid and parathyroid glands are in the lower front of the neck. If you’re seeing swelling there, it could be something other than fat. If that is where you’re seeing extra, do a quick check in with your doctor and have labs drawn that check your Calcium levels (parathyroid) and your TSH and T4 levels (thyroid stimulating hormone and thyroid level, respectively). No reason to panic, but you’ll want to address it sooner rather than later if that’s where you’re seeing it.

OP, that’s awesome news. If it is fat, Kybella can be injected to dissolve it if it’s bothering you, I think. It can be used on jaw and under chin. I believe it can also be used on the neck.
