My wife has asked for a nice watch as a graduation/new job gift. She already has a 25mm white dial watch on polished steel, which works well for dressier occasions. Now she wants something more casual.

This Omega is larger at 34mm, has a wave dial (which nicely echoes my blue Diver 300M), and is mostly brushed stainless for a more casual vibe.

Searched the bowl and could not find a direct comparison. I have the opportunity to purchase a) Santos de Cartier Medium or b) Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36. Both white dials and SS. Tried them both on and am leaning towards Santos because it stood out a bit to me. Thoughts? FWIW, I only own a “mall brand” dress watch on a leather strap and am looking to upgrade.
